Teri Hatcher, 61, looked unrecognizable after ditching her signature long brown hair for a blonde bob.

She debuted the bob—her shortest hair in years—during her first performance as Miranda Priestly in a West End production of The Devil Wears Prada musical on October 20.

Hatcher’s West End debut comes one month after the Desperate Housewives alum addressed reboot rumors.

Teri Hatcher blew fans away during her West End debut as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada musical on October 20. As she took the stage for her momentous performance, Hatcher looked almost unrecognizable with her most dramatic hair transformation in years.

While Meryl Streep brought back her signature silver bixie haircut in The Devil Wears Prada 2, the long-anticipated sequel to the 2006 film, Hatcher’s version of the Runway editor-in-chief saw Priestly sporting a fresh hairstyle. As she stepped on stage, Hatcher debuted a blunt, chin-grazing bob in a rich shade of honey-blonde.

The bob, a noticeable departure from Hatcher’s lengthy chocolate-brown waves, also featured platinum-blonde highlights that glistened under the stage lights as the actress took a bow in front of the audience. Hatcher’s wardrobe also included a structured pantsuit in stiletto red with lustrous accents along the sides of the jacket.

The chin-length blonde bob marks Hatcher’s shortest hair since 2021, when she debuted another cropped hairstyle on Instagram. On July 28, 2021, Hatcher surprised fans with a side-swept, chin-length bob in a softer shade of brown. “Just makin it official….in case you missed it,” she captioned the post, crediting hair stylist Tim Dueñas and expert hair colorist Antoine Wayne for the fresh look.

Hatcher’s West End debut comes one month after the Desperate Housewives alum addressed reboot rumors. “I don’t think there’s any truth in that, unfortunately,” Hatcher revealed in an interview with British radio network Heart in September. While she added that a Desperate Housewives film “would be great,” Hatcher said that it’s unlikely her character would make it into any reboot content.

“I do always think it’s a complicated answer for Susan, specifically, because they killed her love of her life, so she couldn’t be with another man because then it would invalidate the love story she had within the actual show,” Hatcher explained.
