Swanson won three of the seven events including the running of the Little 500 at Anderson Speedway in May.
Tyler Roahrig won the last race of the season last weekend at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
It was the "Rocket's" sixth win at the IRP oval in seven tour events at the venue.
Roahrig missed two races during the year or would have been a serious challenger for the championship. He was the champion in 2023 and Dakoda Armstrong was the champion in 2025.
During the year Roahrig won twice with Bobby Santos III and Jackson Macenko both scoring one win each.
Tony McVey earned rookie of the year honors with the series.
Alexandria's Rob Keesling finished ninth at the IRP race and Donnie Adams Jr. came home in 12th.
The 500 Sprint Car Tour completed its fifth season and saw 39 drivers competing in the events, which is a good sign for the 2027 season.
Jake Trainor won the All Star Midget race at IRP with Kyle O'Gara earning the championship with a strong second place showing.
The All Star Midgets finished a strong season and it can be hoped that they will return to Anderson Speedway in 2027 following an impressive 100-lap feature at the track this year.
In other racing news: NASCAR travels to Talladega Speedway this weekend with just three races remaining in the title chase.
Talladega is always known for the "big one" that can knock a driver out of the championship run and that can be expected on Sunday.
After Sunday's race the series travels to the half-mile "paperclip" oval at Martinsville and concludes at Homestead.
Kyle Larson is the current point leader and has a five point margin over Christopher Bell. Chase Briscoe is third followed by Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney.
The Gas City Speedway which was for many years a staple for dirt track racing in the region has been listed for sale at a cost of $2 million.
The track has been closed for several years and although there is a grassroots movement to have the facility reopened, the asking price will be problematic.
Located right off Interstate 69 on Indiana 18 the site is unfortunately more likely to become a distribution facility for a national company.
