Charlotte Worthington insisted she had achieved her dream by even making it to the Paris Olympics after seeing her reign as BMX freestyle champion end in qualifying. The Team GB star won a brilliant gold in the new urban sport event when it made its debut at Tokyo 2020, famously becoming the first woman to land a 360-degree backflip. But Worthington struggled with her mental health after the highs of that victory and fell out of love with the sport.
