The story of Liza Minnelli's rise to fame started the day she was born: the daughter of The Wizard of Oz star Judy Garland and acclaimed director Vincente Minnelli, Liza grew up in the spotlight, with her half-siblings Lorna Luft, Joey Luft and Christiane Nina Minnelli. By the time she was 19, in 1965, Liza had already won a Tony Award. After an Oscar in 1972, a Tony in 1973 and a Grammy in 1990, she became one of only 24 people to achieve an EGOT for winning each award.
