Prince William Joins the Welsh Guards for Morning of New Weapons Training
Prince William is visiting the troops. The Prince of Wales spent the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 26 with the Welsh Guards as they trained in western England. The soldiers of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards are preparing for new duties on Salisbury Plain, the open landscape where the British Army takes part in vital maneuvers. The Welsh Guards have been switching from ceremonial duties that, in the past two years, has meant undertaking roles such as the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth and the coronation of her son (and Prince William's father) King Charles, 76.
