The moment a lone Ukrainian soldier valiantly fought off six Russians in a bitter close-range gun battle has emerged in the latest evidence of the savage trench warfare raging in Eastern Europe. The breathless drone footage showed the single Ukrainian, wearing combat trousers and nothing but an olive-green t-shirt, stalking along a ridge beside a network of trenches in anticipation of a possible Russian assault.
