The 2024 gold medal-winning USA gymnastics team officially have a nickname: the Golden Girls. Simone Biles revealed the sweet moniker on social media after she and her four teammates came out on top in Paris earlier this week. 'The official team name is golden girls,' she wrote on X, noting they chose the name because they're the 'oldest Olympic team.' Although Biles is a seemingly young 27, she and her teammates are America's oldest gymnastics team since 1952, with an average age of 22.
