Chelsea's newest signing Filip Jorgensen wants to waste no time in becoming their starting goalkeeper, saying he is ready to compete with Robert Sanchez and confident when passing out from the back. Jorgensen joined for £20.7million from Villarreal on Tuesday, with the 22-year-old thrown into his first training that same afternoon before playing the second half of their 3-0 friendly win over Club America the following day. Signing on a seven-year contract, he spoke to reporters after appearing for the first time, telling us he is relishing his friendly rivalry with Sanchez.
