MILLIONS of individuals are eating their Cornish pasties the mistaken method, analysis suggests.

Almost half of pasty lovers — 47 per cent — maintain them vertically, consuming the crimped edge and principal pasty collectively.
One other 14 per cent eat the crimped aspect first and save the remaining for last.
Meanwhile, 25 per cent do it in other unconventional methods — together with chopping it up with a knife and fork.
Only 14 per cent received it proper, in line with a poll of 2,000 UK adults by Ginsters.
The overwhelming majority, 94 per cent, additionally did not know that swede, onions and potatoes go into making a proper Cornish pasty.
Half — 51 per cent — consider carrots are part of the normal recipe when they don't seem to be.
