Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber admits he has been left 'annoyed' over his lack of enjoying time since he moved to the Emirates this summer.

The Gunners signed Timber from& Ajax& in a £38m deal this& summer& but despite much hype over his arrival, he has only managed to make two appearances.

After enjoying 76 minutes as Arsenal beat Manchester Metropolis in the Group Defend,& Timber picked up a nasty ACL injury on his Premier League debut.

It was thought that the 22-year-old might miss your complete season but his rehabilitation appears to be ahead of schedule.

The Netherlands worldwide has now opened up about his time on the sidelines as he advised the Arsenal website: 'In fact at some factors it's been troublesome, because you're not enjoying, and that's the thing you love to do.

'Typically you actually need to be a part of the group – if you end up having fun with the sport a lot you actually need to get down there and be part of it.

'That's irritating, as a result of typically it seems so superb you need to be a part of it.

'However I exploit that as motivation during my restoration. I see the boys rather a lot, at the training ground but in addition at the games, and that's been good for me too.

'These months will certainly make me stronger.

'It's a chance for me to do nicely. So despite the fact that I'm not enjoying, I can take this second to turn into stronger mentally, bodily, and in addition to really feel at residence with this group of boys.

'It's a chance I've taken with each arms. I've had some more time to observe the staff, see how we play, how I can fit in once I get on the pitch.
